The Shattered Throne
Strike back at the curse that plagues the Dreaming City.
The Shattered Throne is a dungeon in Destiny 2 on The Dreaming City. It is built for up to 3 players.
The Shattered Throne dungeon guide
The Shattered Throne opened on September 25, 2018, in the third week of Forsaken. Up to three players travel through the Dreaming City into Eleusinia, Mara Sov’s throne world, to stop the curse at its source. When it launched it was only available once every three weeks, during the strongest week of the Dreaming City curse.
1. Erebus (the labyrinth)
Each building holds a miniboss and its group. Kill them to reveal a symbol pointing to the next building, and when you see the bird symbol, head down. It’s a long chain of fights, so keep your Supers rolling.
2. The Descent
Ogres and Phalanxes love knocking players off the narrow walkways, and the fall kills you. Then comes the Shadow Thrall hallway, where you lose most of your movement and don’t regenerate health. Go slowly and clear ahead of you.
3. Vorgeth, the Boundless Hunger
Vorgeth sits behind a shield. Four Taken Wizards, the Keepers of Petitions, drop Petitioner’s Mark. Its timer is 45 seconds and resets every time you pick up another one. Dying wipes your stacks. At full stacks it turns into Petitioner’s Burden, which you deposit at one of the four central braziers to drop the shield. During damage, Vorgeth fires homing Taken projectiles that you have to shoot down.
4. Climb the tower
Lifts, another Thrall hallway and an outside wall section take you to the top.
5. Dûl Incaru, the Eternal Return
Three Knights guard the arena. A crystal keeps them shielded, so destroy it first. Killing the Knights gives Finite Thought, the buff you need to damage Dûl Incaru. It kills you when its timer runs out unless you cleanse it at the well in the middle. Taken Psions keep spawning and splitting, so don’t let them pile up.
Wish-Ender
Wish-Ender, the Kinetic combat bow, comes from a quest rather than a drop. Part of it means finding and defeating three hidden bosses, Querim, Eriviks and Xavoth, before turning in at Sjur Eido’s statue. The dungeon’s triumphs count toward the Dreaming City’s Cursebreaker seal. The full loot table is below.
