"The opportunity of a lifetime."

Last Wish is a raid in Destiny 2 on The Dreaming City. You can run it with up to 6 players. It comes in 4 versions: Standard, Normal, Level 55, Level 58. This page lists every weapon that drops here, plus all triumphs and challenges.

Last Wish raid guide

Last Wish opened on September 14, 2018, about two weeks after Forsaken launched. Six Guardians head into the heart of the Dreaming City to put down Riven of a Thousand Voices. It has five encounters, a final run with Riven’s heart, and the famous Wall of Wishes that hides secrets and shortcuts.

1. Kalli, the Corrupted

The arena has nine plates and six snake symbols hanging in the centre. Assign each player a symbol and a shelter before you start; it makes everything calmer. Go to the plate that matches your symbol, survive the Taken bombs, and kill the Taken Knight that spawns to clear the symbol. Standing on a wrong plate spawns an Ogre, so be sure of your symbol.

When all six are cleared, group in the centre and damage Kalli. As soon as “Kalli prepares to wield her weapon” appears, everyone runs to their assigned safe room under the arena. Anyone caught outside a shelter when she fires is dead.

2. Shuro Chi, the Corrupted

This fight runs on a four-minute timer, and the team wipes if it runs out. Clear the adds, then three players pick up the prism weapons, stand on plates and fire at each other in a triangle to break Shuro Chi’s shield. Then everyone damages her.

When she starts charging her team-wipe attack, interrupt it with the relic super that a Knight drops. The same player can’t carry it twice in a row, so take turns. Between damage phases you move through puzzle rooms where you stand on floor tiles to complete the symbols on the wall. Each tile can only be used once, and the tiles hurt. Solving the puzzle resets the timer and lets you move up.

3. Morgeth, the Spirekeeper

Morgeth grows stronger every time a Taken Strength orb reaches him, so the team collects them first. You can hold two at most, and a third will kill you. At two stacks a player can get locked down and has to be cleansed within 20 seconds.

To cleanse, kill an Eye of Riven, grab the Taken essence it leaves behind and use it on the locked player. The cleanser takes over their strength stacks. The final orb spawns right in front of Morgeth: take it and shoot him in the back. If Morgeth reaches full strength, or a locked player isn’t freed in time, the team wipes.

4. The Vault

No boss, just teamwork. Three players stand on the three locks, and each one sees three symbols; the one in the middle is the real symbol for that lock. Find where that symbol appears on another lock and cleanse it there: Penumbra handles a duplicate on the left and Antumbra one on the right. The essences come from Eye of Riven Knights in the outer rooms.

Watch the Might of Riven Knights. If one reaches a lock, the team wipes. Using the wrong essence is just as bad.

5. Riven of a Thousand Voices

Split into two rooms of three. When Riven shows up, shoot her in the mouth to stun her, and two of her eyes light up. Call those eyes to the other room, which kills an Eye of Riven and cleanses the matching symbol on the wall, guided by a player behind the glass. When her mouth closes, shoot the called eyes quickly. Wrong or missed eyes, or the wrong symbol, will wipe you.

For the final phase all six players work together on the damage, then you shoot her weak points while falling and climb through the Ascendant plane, where your health drains. Finish by running into her mouth and destroying the Taken Blight heart.

6. Queenswalk (Heart of Riven)

A random player carries Riven’s heart. The carrier can’t shoot, throw grenades or double jump, and everyone else has to stay inside the carrier’s dome, because Creeping Darkness kills anyone outside it. When the carrier’s timer runs out, they’re sent to another realm, where they collect lights to reset it before the heart passes to someone else. Mights of Riven spawn over there too. Stay behind the carrier so you don’t get pulled along, and carry the heart all the way to the end.

The Wall of Wishes

In the Tower of Opened Eyes you’ll find the Wall of Wishes. Shoot the panels into a symbol pattern, then stand on the plate in front of it to make a wish. Wishes can skip you straight to later encounters, grant keys and an emblem, and add cosmetic effects. One of them starts Petra’s Run, a flawless-only challenge run.

Challenges

  • Summoning Ritual (Kalli): cleanse all nine plates. The three wrong ones spawn Ogres, and every Knight and Ogre must die before damage.
  • Which Witch (Shuro Chi): nobody gets hit by her ranged blast.
  • Forever Fight (Morgeth): keep the four Taken Ogres alive.
  • Keep Out (Vault): no Might of Riven reaches the centre.
  • Strength of Memory (Riven): nobody shoots the same eye twice.

One Thousand Voices

The raid exotic, One Thousand Voices, is a Solar fusion rifle that fires a continuous beam followed by delayed explosions. It drops at the end of the raid, from the final chests after Riven. The full loot table is below.
