How the God Roll Checker works
Search for any Legendary weapon with random rolls, then click the perks your copy has, one per column. The checker gives the roll a score out of 100 for PvE or PvP and compares it with the best roll that weapon can drop. “God roll” means you have the best combination the perk pool allows, or one within a few points of it. Hit Show the god roll to see that combination right away, and Copy link to share your roll with your fireteam.
How we rate perks
Every trait perk has a PvE and a PvP rating from 0 to 10 on Lightbearer Saga’s own scale. Some perks change value with the weapon. Bait and Switch and Vorpal Weapon matter most on Special and Heavy weapons, Surrounded is a top pick on swords, and Opening Shot shines on snipers, scouts and hand cannons. Pairs that work especially well together, like Explosive Payload with Firefly or Demolitionist with Adrenaline Junkie, get a bonus. Barrels, magazines, batteries and blades add a smaller part of the score, because the two trait columns decide most of a weapon’s power.
PvE or PvP?
PvE ratings reward damage, add clear, ammo economy and ability uptime. PvP ratings reward range, handling, aim assist and perks that win duels. A great PvE roll can be an average PvP roll, so switch between the two tabs to see both.
Community votes
Think we got a weapon wrong? Select your favorite pair of traits and press Vote. Once a combination has a few votes, it shows up as the community pick, both here and on the weapon’s own page. You can vote once per weapon per mode each day.
Good to know
The ratings are our view of the current Destiny 2 meta, not hard math. Your own build, subclass and playstyle can make a different roll the better choice. Perk pools come straight from Bungie’s game data and update with the rest of the weapon database. Exotic weapons have fixed perks and are not part of the checker. Want to see the whole loadout? Try a roll together with your subclass in the Build Planner.
