Destiny 1 Grimoire card
Hereafter
“Huddled at the mountain's base, we had no choice but to beat our ploughshares into swords once more.”
Hereafter is a Grimoire card from the original Destiny (Destiny 1), found under Inventory → Special Weapons. Grimoire cards held most of the game's lore and were read on Bungie.net and in the companion app, not in the game itself.
Card text
Once, we had peace.
This isn't a story about peace.
Then there was darkness, destruction, despair.
This isn't a story about those things either.
This story comes much later.
It's a story about what was here, after,
And what came next.
This isn't a story about peace.
Then there was darkness, destruction, despair.
This isn't a story about those things either.
This story comes much later.
It's a story about what was here, after,
And what came next.
Grimoire text written by Bungie, shown as it appears in the Destiny 1 game files.
