Sniper Rifles is a Grimoire card from the original Destiny (Destiny 1), found under Inventory → Special Weapons. Grimoire cards held most of the game's lore and were read on Bungie.net and in the companion app, not in the game itself.
Card text
The dangers present beyond the City's walls cannot always be met head-on. The accuracy and power of the Sniper Rifle offers the best option for precise ranged attacks. Caliber and make differ, but a good sniper can always remove key threats.
Grimoire text written by Bungie, shown as it appears in the Destiny 1 game files.
