The Keening is a Legendary Sidearm in Destiny 2 that deals Arc damage from the Energy slot and uses primary ammo. Its intrinsic trait is the Adaptive Frame. Look out for rolls with Rapid Hit, Subsistence, Moving Target, Killing Wind.
