Destiny 1 Grimoire card
Dead Orbit
"The Traveler is not our only salvation. Another future lies out among the light of other stars."
Dead Orbit is a Grimoire card from the original Destiny (Destiny 1), found under Allies → City Factions. Grimoire cards held most of the game's lore and were read on Bungie.net and in the companion app, not in the game itself.
Card text
Dead Orbit's theology has developed from mere fatalism into an obsession with worlds beyond Earth. Now their focus is on the building of a starfaring fleet, cobbled together from the ashes of our past and the spoils of war.
Grimoire text written by Bungie, shown as it appears in the Destiny 1 game files.
